Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre is one of the top private hospitals in Penang. With the opening of new building in 2009, the hospital took another big step by enhancement their current online marketing campaign. The very first step was to renovate the official website and I’m glad the hospital appointed our team to work on this project.

Web Design
The website before the renovation was an old style html with some graphics and flash so our first task was to expand the website to reflect their wide range of state-of-the-art medical services, demonstrate their expertise, specialists and professionalism.

We decided to settle for a clean, simple yet elegant design. The homepage welcomes visitors with the highlights of the latest medical technology and facility. The quick finder on the side allows visitors to easily navigate to any services and facilities information pages. The homepage also features a design that draws immediate attention to “calls to action” for latest events and promotions.

Unique Features
By taking this opportunity, we introduce a few new features in the new website:
– News column featuring latest news, events, promotions and doctors’ articles.
– Online appointment system.
– Google map & direction system.
– The “email page” and “print page” icons which at every page for visitors sharing convenient.

With the launch of new website, the hospital needed help driving high quality traffic to their new website through different keywords and branding ideas. After the discussion, the team decided to focus on search engine optimization and temporary ignore the paid listing option.
